Covid got it
Did you lose The Bay?
Gosh, our markets never stopped in Canberra, and I couldn’t live without them.
Maybe because many of the stall holders come from QLD? Or are staying within the bubble.
Dang it we camping here for the weekend just for the market 😭😭
It didn't surprise me. 😀

this is what I miss, the water looks great.
Loved seeing this pic of the bar looking from the south wall to the north SO much seeing I live in Victoria & can’t get back to my roots for a visit!
I heard if you come across an aggressive one, stop walking, take off any glasses and look it in the eye. A pocket full of small dog food may also be useful. As we know they remember people who feed them...they remember your face.
No it's going for walkers as well
Only defending its territory, just beware ✌️✌️

Brunswick Heads is being classed as a border zone resident area. Which means we can go over the border and our Queensland counterparts can travel as far down as us. We are the limit of the border, Byron, Mullum, Bangalow, Ballina, Lismore are not in the zone.
FYI: A border zone resident is someone who lives in a community on the Queensland New South Wales border. This includes both sides of the border – people who live in Queensland but work or go to school in their neighbouring border town, or people who live in New South Wales but come to work or school in their neighbouring border town in Queensland. Border zone residents can cross the border for any purpose.
Queensland border zone residents cannot travel outside the border zone in New South Wales and New South Wales border zone residents cannot travel outside the border zone in either Queensland or New South Wales.

Update. It appears that we are no longer included in the bubble they’ve changed the zones from this morning.
2483 is not on the list
2483 has now been excluded
Errrrm “New South Wales border zone residents cannot travel outside the border zone in either QLD or NSW” 🤷🏼♀️ how, what???
That’s a relief ... I will be needing to go to a hospital in Qld for a minor procedure in the next month or two and was really wondering how that would be possible!
So if you live in Ocean Shores and have children who go to school in Mullum which is the DoE's zoning for some western Ocean Shores residents and all high school students, you won't be able to get the 'X' pass.
Does that not mean then that those people that use these passes can not then “cross” over the border zone to Mullumbimby, Byron etc?
So if you want to travel the border you now live is a tiny state between bruns and ormeao. No brisvagas or Byron for you. Think I will stay in NSW lol
Isn’t Mullum 2484 that’s in
The map alone isn’t permission to cross. Where is the official declaration giving permission?
Thanks for clearing that up.

Did you know that 27.4km of the Brunswick River has been restored for fish navigation all year round … up from the 10 days a year that fish were able to travel a short distance from the river mouth, in the past. We achieved this by building causeways that allow fish to swim freely beneath them. A great idea and a huge win for the fish! ... See MoreSee Less
Just to point out, I believe they are talking about upstream where causeways were blocking the movement of fish.
What crap, yes it were dredged, yes it is silted up now. Many yrs ago as a true local born & bred, the river system were plentiful of fish, deep channels from the mouth allowing fishing fleet a good passage to the harbour. Now the Neely M runs struggles to get passed Massey Green Park. Simply the river system at present is in a very sad state, take it from one whom has seen it go from being a fantastic echo system to what can only be described know as disgraceful. On another note, please explain to me just how 27.4 km to 10 days annually equates in reality!!!
Sounds like a crock to me. Byron Shire trying to win points but lets Brunswick Heads down big time. I live in Melbourne but see it all the time when I visit my home town.
I can’t recall any restoration 🤷♀️.. did I miss something?.. really BSC it’s not a case of “we will say it and they will believe “ the statement above really is very silly....
How does 27.4km compare to 10 days per year?
No way so silted up crock of shit
You said that well Wanda Cousins
