The surfing beaches of North Beach, New Brighton, South Golden and Fern Beach are part of the 7km pristine coastal strip of beach from North Head at the mouth of the Brunswick River to Wooyung Creek on the northern boundary of the Byron Shire.

IMPORTANT FESTIVAL UPDATE:

Congestion expected around Tweed Valley Way at Yelgun during the Splendour in the Grass festival period.

Possible delays are expected around the North Byron Parklands site area at Yelgun throughout the duration of the festival - Friday 20 July to Sunday 22 July 2018.

Council’s Community Enforcement team will be responding to complaints in relation to unauthorised parking and camping outside the site only.

If you have any concerns in regards to unauthorised offsite camping or parking please contact Council (02) 6626 7107 during business hours or (02) 6622 7022 after hours.

In relation to impacts generated on site, including noise complaints, please contact the Splendour in the Grass community hotline on (02) 6680 4049.
